1/19/2022 Worm Wednesday my first vermicompost bin is finished.

I’m putting the leftover castings into the garden and throwing out my original worm bin. I learned a good amount with this worm bin. I had holes drilled into the bottom of the bin with a tray underneath it. But for some reason the worms were escaping through the holes at the bottom of the bin. The new bin does not have holes drilled in the bottom, only the top and side to allow air in.
I appreciate everyone that commented on the last video with ideas to help to get rid of the slug issue.

I will be updating the 1 lb of red wiggler bin next week the bin is getting full of castings.
