On this week’s “Eerie Travels,” we visit some of Florida’s legendary parks. Well, at least the parks with some of the greatest legends associated with them.
We travel to The Devil’s Millhopper just outside of Gainesville, Florida. This giant sinkhole was once thought to be the portal to hell as it was littered with strange bones. There’s a native legend that is even scarier for its origin.
We then visit Tate’s Hell, a large forest along Florida’s forgotten coast. This area is often a hot spot for paranormal activity and Skunk Ape sightings. The legend behind the name is appropriately haunting.
Our Eerie Travels spot for the week is The Orman House of Apalachicola, Florida. This amazing house is full of history and some great ghost stories. It’s about to be closed for extensive renovations. Enjoy our virtual tour.
