Psalm 92:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

Why is lovingkindness shown in the morning? Or faithfulness in the night?

Consider this: night and darkness are synonymous in scripture (Gen 1:5). When the people of God walked in darkness, God remained faithful to his word. He was a faithful husband to an unfaithful wife.

Lovingkindness in the morning - The morning is when the Sun of righteousness arose (Mal 4:2). His death on the cross demonstrates God's love. The shed blood removes the stain of sin. Now, all of the harlot behavior of his people is washed away. And we are presented new before him.

Like the people of old, we to often see God's faithfulness in the "nights" of our lives til the victory of morning manifest by his lovingkindness. If nothing else, know this: God is always there for us.
