Canada: Accession proclamation ceremony for King Charles III at Rideau Hall – September 10, 2022

Governor General Mary Simon, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and members of the federal cabinet take part in a ceremony at Rideau Hall to formally proclaim the accession of King Charles III as Canada's sovereign. Following a signing ceremony with the Governor General and the prime minister, Chief Herald of Canada Samy Khalid reads the proclamation.
