Colt 1860 Army Revolver The favorite sidearm of union forces

In this video we’ll take a look at the Colt 1860 Army revolver, which was the most popular sidearm in the Federal armed forces during the American Civil war.

We’ll go over the history of the Model 1860, and we’ll shoot an original Colt Army model loaded with paper cartridges, just as it would have been during the Civil War.
