Katie has been working in the field of grief and bereavement since 2017. She began working at Endless Journey Hospice as a Certified Child Life Specialist providing support for child family members of adult clients in 2020. She has since expanded her role and is the Bereavement Coordinator for Endless Journey’s grief support programing. Her passion is to support loved ones as they move through their grief journey and to grow the Omaha community’s understanding of grief and mourning.

I have been in the elder care and nursing industry for about 9 years. I have worked as a CNA, LPN, and RN. I have worked in skilled facilities, assisted livings, home health, hospital, and hospice. Hospice is and will always be a passion of mine. Through my work as a hospice RN case manager, I identified a need in our community for quality, appropriately trained caregivers who specialize in end of life care. Although geriatrics is where the majority of my experience is in, I also have experience with clients in the 18-65 age range. In addition to hospice, I am passionate about holistic healing and personal development. I am a Reiki Master Practitioner.
