Rest in Peace David Smith - You Will Be Missed

Some sad news to share today as the silver community lost one of its great voices and mentors in David Smith, who passed away last weekend.

David was a long-time writer for TheMorganReport, the author of his own book 'Second Chance,' and a well known contributor and speaker in the silver community.

He had an incredible body of knowledge that he shared about silver, but perhaps even more so, he was just a wise and kind man who had a great perspective on life, and had a way of touching the people that he interacted with.

I was fortunate to have David on the show several times over the past few years and learn from his great body of knowledge about silver. Yet what I will really miss even more were some of our conversations offline, as he was a role model and mentor to me, and just had this kind fatherly presence in my life.

David will be missed by many, yet I trust he is now resting peacefully, as he was an incredible man of character that I consider myself blessed to have been able to get to know and call a friend.
