Jerusalem City Walls Light Up in Memory of Queen Elizabeth II

The walls of Jerusalem’s Old City were lit up with British and Israeli flags on the night of Thursday, September 8, as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.

This footage, posted to Twitter by Margo Dickstein, shows flags projected onto the city walls beside Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem.

The queen, who had served as the United Kingdom’s head of state since 1952, died at Balmoral aged 96, the Royal Family announced on Thursday.
