1 is a first-person shooter developed and produced by EA DICE Studios (EA Digital Illusions CE) and published by EA (ArtEco). (The game was released on 21 October 2016 and is called "Battlefield 1" rather than "Battlefield 5" because it is about World War I and the first installment of the Battlefield series was not called "Battlefield 1 " but "Battlefield 1942", so it makes sense to call it "Battlefield 1" [8])
