On this episode of Aftershocks TV, Matt sits down with BLIND ILLUSION guitarist/vocalist Mark Biedermann, guitarist Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen) and bassist Tom Gears. The guys discuss the band's new full-length 'Wrath Of The Gods' including the album's first two singles/videos 'Straight As The Crowbar Flies' and 'Protomolecule'. Biedermann starts things off by discussing how the bands most recent lineup came together as well as why he considers this to be the band's real follow-up to their classic 1988 release 'The Sane Asylum'. The guys discuss the challenges the band and overall thrash scene faced at the dawn of the 90's as well as how Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett was instrumental in the band getting their record deal with Music For Nations. Biedermann also talks about the difficult decisions he had to make during the bands tenure the early 80's, the challenges the band faced being a progressive thrash band that differed from their thrash metal peers in the SF Bay Area and much more.
