Thousands demand PM’s resignation in Haiti

Gunfire, tear gas, and burning tires – these have become part of life in Haiti’s capital and other major cities as people take to the streets again and again to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry. Haiti has grown increasingly unstable ever since the July 7, 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, with gangs growing more powerful.
