Joe Biden’s furious speech last Thursday drew the ire of the very people he explicitly demonized. That would be the “MAGA supporters” the president so delicately labeled as imminent threats to America and the future of the republic. Of course, Trump supporters immediately began drawing comparisons between Biden and Hitler. Marjorie Taylor Greene shared a video where the Nazi dictator was played over Biden’s words. Greene mocked the “frail, weak, and dementia ridden” president, calling him out for his using “Hitler imagery” as a way to “look tough while he declares war on half of America.” Some social media users said Biden’s aesthetic was meant to play into the “Dark Brandon” meme, but others weren’t buying it. Was this simply a case of bad optics, or was it an intentional message being sent?
