Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
(Isaiah 5:20)

“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.(Matthew 7:15)

The death's-head hawk moth is a famous symbol from The Silence of the Lambs, but there's more to Buffalo Bill's insect of choice than mere coincidence. This dark psychological thriller from 1991 followed FBI trainee Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) as she tracked down Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine), a killer who hunted and skinned women. Since Bill's killing spree has even seasoned FBI agents and profilers scratching their heads, Clarice seeks help from cannibal-murderer Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) for help in understanding Bill's psyche so she can catch him. Despite Hannibal's somewhat overpowering presence throughout the film, the character himself only appears onscreen for around sixteen minutes.(ScreenRat, February 21, 2021)

People are not always the way they appear to you. Many are ravenous wolves.
