Captives set free! (Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-20)

Like the title says, we are using both today. Why? Because the core of the story is important, the idea. Not that Peter and Levi have different perspectives on it what happened to the man possessed by Legion but that Our LORD came to set the captive free. Just like HE quoted from Isaiah (29, 61.) The LORD sets us free, if the SON has set you free, then you **are** free! The question is: Will we walk in the freedom we are given and walk with the LORD, inviting the HOLY SPIRIT in to fill those places that have been cleaned out or do we remain vacant for it and seven worse ones to come back? You can be broken free of your legion, but only HE can do it. Will you let HIM?

See you guys tomorrow for the start of Chapter 9.

Mt 11:4-6 msg) Jesus told them, “Go back and tell John what’s going on:

The blind see,
The lame walk,
Lepers are cleansed,
The deaf hear,
The dead are raised,
The wretched of the earth learn that God is on their side.

“Is this what you were expecting? Then count yourselves most blessed!”

So what should we expect real freedom to look like?
