Representative Lauren Boebert believes the youth is being robbed of their experience of earning a low minimum wage job. She also talks about how more politicians should be like her, not Ivy League graduate that comes from money. The Majority Report crew discusses how companies do not invest in their worker, they are used for their labor and that teenager should be at school as opposed to having to work to make ends meet. The MR crew also mentions how the Right continuously besmirches Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for working as a bartender.

Yes, the government stepped in to help you when your family couldn't provide for you those failed policies provided a foundation so that you could go on to do that. And the idea that like McDonald's was investing in a teenager to pay them first of all McDonald's didn't have its own minimum wage it had a minimum wage set by the government and the problem that you had and I imagine if pretty damn close to the minimum wage that exists today, 7.25 has been around for so long like like almost two decades that was when I worked at McDonald’s. I mean it's quite possible the minimum wage she worked at is the exact same minimum wage federally speaking that exists today, and I'm sure that she's been up in arms about inflammation and yet we don't hear anything about how the minimum wage hasn't kept up with the inflation of the dollar.
