Originally written in Greek and translated into Coptic.

Sethian (ancient Christian Gnostic sect) thought. Sent to an undisclosed recipient. Clarify who are the archons, world rulers. Similar to Jewish thought.
In the Fourth Tractate in Nag Hammadi Codices II
States the malevolent demiurge and archons are real but when opposed by children of light they will be defeated.
The text take the notion of evil very seriously. Gnostics bring urgency to the discussion.
Two Narratives 1) genesis gnostic 2) Norea speaking in the first person.
Samael – demiurge stating it is God.
Forethought and incorruptibility is Barbelo but is Source itself in expression.
Archons androgynous with animal faces. Norea (Orea) daughter of Eve. God has a plan and its will is to be realized.
