Set of early Christianity and Gnostics codices in a jar at the base of the Jabal al-Tarif cliffs, Nag Hammadi in Egypt around C200 AD.
Originally written in Greek and translated into Coptic.

The Secret Book of John - Discovered in the Berlin Gnostic Codex 8502 in 1896, published 1955.
It is documented in four manuscripts (Nag Hammadi Codices II, III IV and the Berlin Gnostic Codex).
Contains Sethian Myth and Christ post resurrection appearance to the apostle John, the son of Zebedee.
Two focus areas
1) Saviors monologue on Theogony (system of gods) and Cosmogony (origin of the universe)
2) Dialogue between John and Christ on Anthropogony (origin of the human species) and Soteriology (doctrine of salvation)
