FOI082: United Hatzalah

United Hatzalah ("United Rescue" in Hebrew) is an Israeli-founded free, volunteer-based emergency medical service, and is the largest independent nonprofit fully volunteer emergency medical service organization of its kind. Originally organized with a mission to serve those in medical need throughout Israel, regardless of race, religion or national origin, United Hatzalah has now grown to over 6,200 emergency medical responders worldwide with additional service chapters now in the U.S., Panama, and Ukraine since opening the doors of its headquarters in Jerusalem in 2006.
