POTA 101 - Parks on the Air - How, What & Where

In this video I am goping over POTA, or, Parks on the Air. POTA is a ham raio activity that can be fun and teach you more about your hobby and your equipment. It is relatively easy to get involved in this activity with a little bit of equipment and an enjoyment of the outdoors. I briefly go over a few tips and tricks for successfully getting into a park for an activation. I go over some equipment suggestions and ways to find a park near you. Joining the POTA site is easy and FREE! So get out there and start having fun with your gear in nature!
