First time homebuyer? New to Florida and how property taxes work? Here's an explainer I did from two different angles - first how property taxes work for the homeowner, and the process of how value is established, then rates established, then bills are sent out. Second, I talk about it from the taxing authority vantage point - having recently run for city commission, this is a new angle for me.
