Hi, this is Josh dream body clinic. And today we're in talk a bit about autism, we've been getting a lot more calls about, uh, treatment with stem cells for autistic children. We've been having a lot of success with this treatment to especially last year. And we started adding in the intrathecal injections, which is where we go into the spinal.
And then put mesenchymal stem cells there, but there's been a lot of questions coming up and I just wanted to address some of those here so that people know there were things that we didn't have on the site before. So when we do the treatment, we start with an IV, typically have a hundred million for smaller children and usually between the four to seven year old range.
But as we start getting older than that, we then go off of bodies. The typical dose we want to do is at least 1.4 million per pound of body weight. So if we've got a kid that weighs just over a hundred pounds, we want to, instead of doing it a hundred million, probably want to do 150 million. So everything's customizable.
We simply have a price on the treatment page. There. Just to make it easier for people. Like I hate going to websites and you can't find a price. You don't know what's going on. You don't even, it just gets confusing. And I don't like that. We want to make this as easy and as transparent as possible for you.
And that's what we want. We want those cells to the brain to help out there. The I V is more to help with the gut health in general inflammation. There's a big connection with autism, between gut health and brain health and the stem cells work incredible for gut health. So that's why we do that. Then we get in there and we have to do this with children in the operating room, but we go into the spinal fluid with our anesthesiologist, Dr.
So that's a big part of that. And then next, the anesthesiologist in the operating room puts the mask on and they use a it's called gas, very safe gas. Uh, the sedation is only for like 10 to 20 minutes. Max. It's really quick. I always go in there. Autistic patients because they don't let the parents back.
Um, We haven't done that with them. We've just done the IVs and the nebulized he's, you know, might not even have been on the spectrum. He just had some vocabulary and in word things that he had trouble with. So we've treated him. I treat my own son. Who's six years old. My daughter's 17. She's done just about every treatment there is.
I've done every treatment. My mom, my brother. I mean, we, we even treat family, I guess is my point. So we want to take care of your family. We want to make sure your kids feeling really good. And we want to let you know just what to expect this treatment. We are seeing a lot of kids that weren't making eye contact before the intro digo making eye contact.
We're looking at this as a progression, a way to help these children to get more of a normal life. And, you know, we hope that one treatment will get them there, but in a lot of cases, it can take more than. Again, not a cure. It's an ongoing process. That's why we try to keep our prices as low as possible to help as many people as possible and just make sure that this is a good experience overall.
They start thinking, oh, it's all just narco violence everywhere. And it's not what it is. I've lived here for 13 years. I'm from Seattle originally and Seattle. They're definitely neighborhoods. You do not want to go into here in Portland. There, there isn't even a dangerous neighborhood. It's all very safe.
So it's very safe. It's very clean. It's very nice. As you can see behind me, I mean, it looks like Miami or something here in the wave of wire to where we're located. We've got the canals here, the hard rock hotels right in front of us. Um, you know, nice, beautiful beaches. There's a lot of really nice, all inclusive resorts.
We're not getting kickbacks or anything like that from them. They just, they get really good deals on hotels. So they've got a good thing set up there and can kind of help you and guide you, you know, within American that can tell you, Hey, this is a good spot or that. So that's how all that works.
