Russia delivers an energy ultimatum to Europe, saying that the Nord Stream 1 pipeline will not resume until the "collective West" lifts sanctions against Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine. The ultimatum comes after threats of an energy price cap on Russia moving forward within the EU. Energy has been halted until sanctions are removed or else.
