Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan are a bizarre but undeniably brilliant couple who were arrested earlier this year for their role in a massive crypto heist that led to the Fed seizing over $3 billion worth of bitcoin, the largest seizure in Department of Justice history.
Ilya and Heather don’t seem like the kind of people to hatch such an elaborate scheme and then blow it all in such a big way. That’s why alternative theories have been surfacing about what really happened.
