“I am a proud American Citizen, Taxpayer and Voter, that is fed up with the fact that my voice, as well as the voices of my neighbors [are] not being heard. I will represent conservative principles in Georgia House District 81,” Benefield said.

According to her Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey, Benefield’s three key messages of her campaign are the “gafairtax", Election Integrity, and Public Safety.

Priorities that she is personally passionate about include

Fiscal Responsibility with Taxpayer funds

Accountability of Elected Officials

Election processes that are trackable, auditable and transparent.

Ensuring that policies in place benefit the Citizen and Not the Government.

Building a communication platform that enables clear exchange of ideas between Citizens and Government.

Limited Government.

Benefield recently criticized Atlanta’s largest media outlet.

“If you write for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, you might be a Presstitute,” Benefield wrote.

The money must follow the child – Provide opportunities for School Choice: public or private that allows each individual child to find the best educational environment for their needs.

“Georgia kids have an uphill battle ahead of them to make up for time and opportunity lost over the last two years. It is imperative that a laser focus on academics must be the first and highest priority in the coming school year. True social justice [equals] well-educated children,” Benefield said.

Benefield will compete against Scott Holcomb (D) in the general midterm election on November 8th.
