Hey, my name's Anthony and I'm here to give a little bit of testimonial, um, about stem cells and what they've done for me. I came to the clinic about a year and a half ago. I believe it was July 2020. It was my first time. And I came here because of a knee injury.
Basically I had torn my meniscus when I was very young, about 20 years ago. Luckily I haven't had many problems throughout my life, but a few years ago I re-injured it. So I decided it was time to see if I could get something done. A lot of my friends had told me about stem cells and particularly about dream body clinic. So I came here and got an MRI and it was pretty clear that I had something that's called a baker cyst behind my knees. It's kind of like a place where there's a bunch of swelling. And then I had both tares on my medial and my lateral meniscus. So I got a stem cell injection about 15 months ago.
It worked so well after it was about three months. It really started feeling better. Then six months later I could really tell everything, it was great. I started doing squats and deadlifts in the gym again, basically went about my life. I decided to bring my family this year to get some stem cells as well, intravenously and for some of their joints that are having problems.
The clinic asked me if I would be open to doing another MRI on my knee to see how it has evolved ever since. I also kind of wanted another little injection on both my knees anyways, cause I also had taken four-fifths of my cartilage up my left knee when I was young. I actually tore both meniscus, but I only had surgery on the left knee anyway. I kind of want just kind of a booster shot because I had a little bit of clicking still on my right knee. Um, and I knew that it couldn't hurt to get my left knee done as well. So we got MRIs on both my right and my left knee just a couple of days ago. And you could clearly see that the baker cyst on the right knee was completely.
My lateral meniscus has completely healed. And then my medial meniscus has just a little bit of a slight tear, which would make sense since I'm still getting just a little bit of clicking in my knee, um, on like full range of motion exercises. Um, but you know, that was 15 months ago that I got the stem cells.
So, um, I'm really optimistic that this next shot is going to get everything completely healed up there. And, um, also in my left knee and I've got just a really small, small town. But, um, you know, I have other things too, that I've been here for as well. For example, I had a wrist injury and I actually injured my wrist and my knee the same time, about a year and a half ago, right before I came to the clinic and I said, okay, I'm going to do a little bit.
Uh, I'm going to not get my wrist on, but I'm going to get my knee done and see if there's a difference in how fast the heel. Well, sure enough, the knee heal it quickly, but a year later, my wrist was still having problems from, from boxing, basically, you know, when you throw a bat punch. Uh, so anyways, uh, three months ago I had come back here just to get the risks done and now risk feels great.
Um, it feels really good to do it again. Two to three months is kind of that sweet spot where you really start, the swelling goes away. You start feeling better. So I imagined about six. I'll probably get another two or three months and we'll start boxing. Um, but my experience here has just been phenomenal.
Like I just can't say how good it is to, to come get a stem cell treatment, whether it's intravenously or for joints that you might have. So, uh, yeah, that's, that's been my experience.
