Wesley Fofana to Chelsea complete Leicester City transfer

Former Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana made his full debut for Chelsea following his summer move to Stamford Bridge and Blues' supporters have delivered their verdict.

The Frenchman ended his two-year stay at the King Power Stadium after making 52 appearances overall. His £75 million move meant he became City's second most expensive sale following Harry Maguire's £80m switch to Manchester United in 2019.

On starting Fofana three days after he arrived at the club, boss Thomas Tuchel said: "He seemed to be a cool guy and fine with it, and we can use his wildness in the back-three and his spirit and his first contact in the box for defending crosses and set-pieces."
