Slow to Anger Exhibits Wisdom from God R1

We take a look at James instruction on anger. The bible tells us to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger. Righteous anger is more than likely the only exception, if it is truly a righteous anger we possess. The Holy Spirit will let us know if it is righteous or our own anger and we should be able to discern between the two. Otherwise, getting angry in most if not all cases does not bring you closer to God. It is not filled with God’s wisdom. What it does is fill us with evil and expose our hearts to how we really feel about someone or something. If we listen more than we talk, we will be in a much better place to represent who we are in Christ and who Christ is. Remember everyone is looking and the world is judging not only you, but who you represent…Jesus Christ. Jesus can get you through those awkward moments of anger if you let Him. Pray for yourself to be released and over time God will deliver you from your anger.
