President Joe Biden has walked back some of his statements after declaring during a speech that “MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” Despite this, the backlash has continued to grow.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump is suggesting that if he wins re-election he will pardon people jailed and charged in relation to the events of Jan. 6, 2021, and has stated he is finally supporting some of the defendant cases.
