Chongqing- Alex In The City "Don't Look Down" Episode 21 In this episode, I share my experience discovering Wulong District. On my adventure, I come across one of the most fascinating bridges I have ever seen.
This construction bridge has no official name. It was built for the "Shuangbao Bridge" of the Chongqing-Changsha Expressway. It is located in Changba Town, Wulong District, Chongqing City. This iron chain bridge solves the transportation of construction materials and personnel passage of the Shuangbao Bridge and connects the No. 9 and No. 8 piers. The construction of this cableway bridge saved a mixing station and a steel bar processing plant for the project and significantly reduced the impact on vegetation. The span of the cable bridge is 245.52 meters, and the total width of the bridge deck is 4.3 meters. The two sides are supported by four sets of thick steel cables, and a number of fine steel cables supports the bottom of the bridge deck. The maximum load-bearing capacity can reach 40 to 50 tons. Because the iron chain bridge is only for the bridge's construction, it is not allowed to enter the outside vehicles. However, according to the construction personnel, the bridge will be retained to build local tourism and other projects after the project is completed. At that time, tourists can not only watch its visual shock in all directions but also drive to experience the thrill and excitement it brings.
Watch the video below for the entire adventure.

Chongqing-A new series of vlogging is coming to Chongqing. Let me introduce myself. My name is Alex, and I have recently moved to Chongqing, China. I was born in Canada but have always been interested in China. The population of Chongqing is similar to that of my country. Some people might think that a vlogger it's just a person talking about him or herself, and maybe that's how it was many years ago. Some vloggers create educational content, and others talk about their political views or experiences. I try to inspire and motivate people to change their perceptions of China. So why do I do this? With technology no longer an obstacle, I can get my message out to the world. People want an inside, non-biased look at real life in this competitive media landscape, and my vlogs deliver you that and more. I will show you China, but I will show you my accomplishments and my struggles.
