UK PM RACE: How Rishi Sunak, Trailing Liz Truss, Ended His Campaign On An Optimistic Note

The voting process for Borish Johnson as the British Prime Minister closed on Sep 2. Around 1,70,000 Tory members had to vote their choice between Indian-origin politician Rishi Sunak, and Foreign Secretary Liz Truss. While Sunak constantly topped all the parliamentary rounds of voting, the surveys among the tory members are in favour of Truss to replace Johnson as the UK's next PM.
