Thicken Watery Output | #ileostomy | #ConvaTec Diamonds | #Shorts

Watery output is heavy, causes leaks (super easy for thin output to sneak behind the wafer) and can be an indicator of infection, blockage, or other maladies - if nothing else - can cause dehydration. This is NOT a medical advice - I’m simply sharing what my experiences are.

I recently had my first minor blockage - but major enough to recognize I might be in trouble. Thankfully, I was able to take the right steps quickly to avoid an ER visit. That video is in the works.

But this one, is to show how we can thicken the output in our pouch. Sometimes, we just are kinda stuck with thin output. What can we do to make the bag contents a little thicker?
