TUCKER CARLSON TODAY WITH MATTIAS DESMET PHD ON MASS FORMATION PSYCHOSIS (09-01-2022)

Professor Mattias Desmet PHD University of Ghent Belgium joins Tucker Carlson to discuss his book "The Psychology of Totalitarianism" with regards to a phenomenon called "Mass Formation Psychosis".
He explains in incredible detail how society, the masses went along with these ridiculous covid measures up to ostracizing the very tiny minority who didn't agree and spoke out against government overreach nullifying our constitutional rights using a fabricated object of fear as a catalyst. Similar to the writings of Hannah Arendt "The origins of totalitarianism" where she so accurately described the downfall of Nazi ideology and predicted the collapse of Communist ideology decades in advance.

When people are atomized, lonely and anxious an object of fear to rally around them seems very attractive to belong to a certain group as a psychological coping style for their fear and anxiety.

Mattias however expresses a silver lining how to deal with this phenomenon.
