Erdogan threatens Greece with military action, invasion like in Syria and Iraq

“When the time comes, we will do what’s necessary, and as we say, we may come suddenly one night,” he added, using his often-repeated words when he talked about launching an operation [#invasion] into neighboring #syria and #Iraq.

Erdogan has been constantly threatening Greece with force. On Friday, he said that #greece is not important for #NATO.

Earlier in the week, he warned that Greece is making the same mistake as in 1922.

“We have only one word to tell Greece: Do not forget #izmir (#smyrna in Greek),” #Erdogan said, referring to the Turkish forces entered the city on the Aegean coast in 1922 killing thousands of civilians.
