Michigan Abortion Amendment BLOCKED By State Board

The Michigan Board of State Canvassers on Wednesday voted 2-2 on partisan lines to decide whether an abortion-rights amendment can be included on the November ballot. The deadlocked vote blocked the measure.

I guess you guys know about the Michigan board blocking the certification of the abortion rights ballot measure. It was thrown to the Michigan supreme court. so the Michigan board of state canvassers were deadlocked two to two. two democrats and two republicans which I figured this was going to happen anyhow so. but they said that the reason why was because of wording and formatting errors. and eric Doster who's assistant to support Michigan women and children which is a joke. He's on the fascist side. He said nonsense cannot be put in the Michigan constitution. actual words are required. so I guess they're having to reformat this and throw it in the supreme court. This thing has gotten over 700 750 000 signatures from all 83 counties. yeah. and so as far as seeing the 425 000 qualify so. So yeah, we got to put this on the ballot. I mean I feel bad for the red states they really don't have a chance for you know the people that run their state. but Michigan man they just are. I thank God for Whitmer. I know she's kind of an establishment. but she did you know she's done some good things here. She's been very strong in terms of winning. I'm sorry. she's been very strong in terms of abortion. And I suspect that particularly in the wake of Roe v Wade that if I was on you know sports trading or trading sports or whatever what trade sports trade. I don't know. that the odds of her running for president and winning have probably gotten a little bit tighter I would imagine.
