U.S. Open fans bid Serena goodbye in likely last match

After Serena Williams bid an emotional goodbye to the U.S. Open in what may have been the last singles match of her glittering career Friday (September 2), the crowd gathered outside of Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York let out an audible gasp before breaking into applause.
