Homemade Disinfectant With Rosemary To Keep Your Home Always Clean

Keeping the house clean is a never-ending task.

One of the most important tools in the fight against dirt is the all-purpose spray, but a look at the label of some commercial products can be discouraging when you find a long list of potentially toxic ingredients with hard-to-pronounce names, accompanied by information on poison control and warnings against prolonged contact.

When it comes to cleaning kitchen countertops, appliances and other surfaces that come into direct contact with them, it may be time to consider an effective alternative with ingredients that aren't only environmentally friendly, but good for you.

Whether you've a quick spill or are on the hunt for dirt, grime and germs, this natural and easy-to-make cleaning cocktail is just what you need.

Learn how to make your house smell amazing while saving money.

Write down the ingredients:

1.5 qt. water;
3.4 oz. rubbing alcohol;
3.4 oz. vinegar;
1.7 oz. fabric softener (we suggest using the homemade softener we taught in this video being suggested to you);
2 tablespoons baking soda;
2 tablespoons dish soap;
Food coloring (optional);
Rosemary branches;

Directions

Put the water in a container and add the alcohol, vinegar, and dish soap, and mix well. Next, add the fabric softener and mix. A layer will begin to form on the surface, which you must remove with a strainer.

Put the rosemary branches in a 67 oz. plastic bottle, pour the mixture over, add the food coloring, and let it rest for 24 hours. After this period, your disinfectant is ready to use.
