Argentine President condemns attack on VP

Argentina's Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was unharmed on Thursday (September 1) when a man with a loaded gun tried to shoot her but the gun did not go off, officials said. President Alberto Fernandez said in a televized address that the act was the most serious event the country had experience since its return to democracy.
