The Wild and Freizeitpark Klotten in Rhineland-Palatinate has reopened just three days after a visitor was killed after falling from a rollercoaster. German authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

It was at the Wild and Freizeitpark Klotten, also known as Klotti Park, that a 57-year-old woman tragically fell to her death on Saturday while riding "The Hot Ride" rollercoaster.

Prosecutors in Koblenz claim the woman, who was identified as a German citizen, fell out of her seat during a curve on the coaster. It is estimated that the woman fell about eight metres to her death.
