MY RECIPE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
PLEASE CHECK PINNED COMMENT FOR ERROR CORRECTIONS OR THINGS I FORGOT!
Ingredients Needed: (For the exact recipe you saw me do, adjust for amounts if you make more)
- 12" mini French Bread
- 1/2 stick of melted butter of 2 heaping tablespoons of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Power
- 1/4 Teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 3/4 Teaspoon Dried Parsley (remember to save some for garnish)
- 2 Tablespoons of Italian Dressing (use your favorite brand)
- 1 Tomato (sliced)
- 1 Onion (sliced)
- Mozzarella Cheese Slices (I used 10 thin slices)
Directions: (ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE PREPARING ANY FOOD ITEMS!)
1) Slice tomato and onion.
2) Slice bread on half as shown in video.
3) Combine melted butter, garlic powder, basil, oregano, dried parsley and italian dressing in bowl, mix well.
4) Apply melted butter mixture to bread generously using a brush.
5) Top with mozzarella cheese.
6) Place onion and tomato on top, garnish with parsley.
7) Place into oven at 350 degrees until melted and tomatoes begin to render. (time will vary depending on how large the bread is you use. Mine took 12 minutes)
8) Remove from oven, allow to cool for 5 minutes.
9) SLICE AND ENJOY!
