Many things were in flux at this time in WWE. Steve Austin walked out and was arrested for domestic violence, the Rock was about to go film a movie, Brock Lesnar was proving he was "The Next Big Thing," Hulk Hogan's in-ring career was a bit more than winding down, Shawn Michaels is back and was about to start the second "prime" of his career after a 4 1/2 year absense, and the divide between Raw and SmackDown! was becoming bigger than ever.
