A righteous person's honest prayer. (James 5:13-18)

The importance of the body, the importance of connecting with each other, the need to be real. We can try all we want to play it another way, to do it another way, in the end it will always fail because it's not how we are even made to work. We are made for partnership. The God of the Bible is shares HIS power because HE wants to. HE wants us, to walk with us, to be with us. Why? Because of love. When you care for someone so much that you long to hear what they have to say, even if you've heard it a thousand times, to hear it as though it were the first because it is from a place of being real and being honest. It's about connection. Something that as I type this makes me think of the verse that says, "How can you say you love GOD but hate that which HE made." That goes for others, as well as ourselves. Behind every place of defense there is a hurt that HE want to heal, we just have to let HIM. When we let our LORD take us out of the places of struggles and hurt, leading us through the valley and shaping us into *real* people, it's better and all the more beautiful.
It's not super powers, it's not magic, I almost want to say it's not even miracles (It is! Just not in the secular sense) because this is the reality which we come to live. Where, through prayer, water comes from rocks, bread from heaven, and forgiving someone can let them walk. It's the real reality in which we live. If this isn't the reality you know to be true, do you want it to be? Cause it is, in relationship with HIM, and *only* in relationship with HIM.
