Ms. Wallen previously taught Advanced Academics as an elementary school teacher for the Miami-Dade County Public Schools in Miami, Florida. Having dedicated much of her time to talented children, she notably established the gifted program at South Point Elementary School in Miami Beach in 1996 and later served as a curriculum support specialist at the division of Advanced Academics at her school district between 2006 and 2009. Presently, Ms. Wallen continues to support education as a National Board Certified Teacher with Wallen's Global Learners and as a consultant for Solace Place. In these roles, she is dedicated to building wellness strategies, empowerment habits, confidence, self-knowledge, critical thinking and creativity skills in clients and her work.
