As you know, I love to build bulletproof cash flow. To me, it’s not just a statement, but it’s a way of assuring that the deals we’re getting into are solid and overall good investments for the long term. I always prioritize cash flow over appreciation, because it’s the cash flow that will keep the business running through good times and in bad. I started looking at single-family homes because that’s where the yield has been and from there, you can scale up to the multi-family space.

Dani Lynn and Flip Robison started out in real estate in 2008 as realtors, but then quickly realized that real estate investing is where it’s at. Once they made the switch, they spent a decade investing in over 1,000 properties and now, they’re the co-founders of Freedom Real Estate Group, which is a family of companies that contains an acquisition, renovations, brokerage, and more. Since 2019, they’ve tripled their sales and they continue to grow and manage high-value residential flips as well as some multi-family now as well. Dani Lynn and Flip’s company also started managing and renovating mid-size apartment complexes in 2020. They share their backstory as well as how they transitioned from single to multi-family deals.
