Police In Arizona Fire At Suspect Who Rammed Into Police Car Outside HQ

The Mesa Police Department released bodycam and surveillance video of a July incident involving a woman who reportedly tailed a police cruiser and rammed it with their vehicle after the officer was pulling into police headquarters. The officer fired at the suspect, identified as 39-year-old Taneysha Shari Carter, after being rammed by the suspect's vehicle. Carter was treated for a single gunshot wound and has since been charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous instrument (her car) and third-degree trespass. The officer-involved shooting aspect is still being investigated.
