Is That a Truth? Space Stories That Stormed the Imaginations of the People but are Fake. (PART 5)

Like our previous episodes, we are here again with the new chapter of "Is that a truth?". In today's episode, we will give you 3 more space stories that took the imagination of people by storm but actually, the stories were fake. We are starting right now. Stay tuned.

#13. The Zero gravity day.
How will you react if you come to know that on a certain day Earth will have zero gravity for some time? Some of us will be scared to death, Some will be too excited and some won't believe it at all.

Somewhere in December 2014 and January 2015, a viral story hit social media which claimed that on January 4, 2015, everyone on Earth will experience a bit of weightlessness or zero gravity due to the strange alignment of the planets. The story appeared legit to many because it had been on a NASA Twitter snapshot.
Of course, on a given day no one floated in thin air. Actually, the gravitational pull of the earth is pretty strong and no phenomenon can turn it down unless it is doomsday.

#14. The Alien craft explosion.
In June 1908, a strange phenomenon happened in Siberia, Then USSR. an unimaginable explosion happened in a place known as Tunguska which is one of the least populated places on the earth. The huge blast flatted around 80 million trees over an area of 830 square miles. The people who witnessed the blast said that the brightness before the explosion was as piercing as the sun. We have created a video on this event on the Galaxian channel whose link you can find on the top of the screen. Please watch that video before you continue.

Immediately after the blast, several theories came up regarding the Tunguska explosion. Some people claimed that the blast was caused by an alien spaceship, some claimed that it was caused by a miniature black hole and some even claimed this it was caused by a particle of antimatter.

The alien theory got more prominent when the Soviet media of that time claimed that evidence of aliens was found in Tunguska.

Today experts are sure that the explosion was caused by an asteroid. No one related the Tunguska explosion to the asteroid impact in 1908 because no crater of any sort was found immediately after the incident. A small crater was later found in a nearby lake though, however, it is not sure if the Tunguska explosion caused that particular crater.

Today researchers have a couple of theories regarding the absence of asteroid debris on the surface. The first one is that the asteroid exploded almost 6 miles above the earth's surface which didn't cause the apocalyptic situation but destroyed almost 830 square miles of forest. The second one is that the asteroid hit the surface in Tunguska but bounced back into space.

#15. UFO refueling near the sun.
NASA, Space agencies, and several private space enthusiasts keep track of the events happening in space. Earlier this year, the footage was captured by the Solar Dynamics Observatory which was later processed by Goddard Space Flight Center. Once the footage was made public many viewers observed a strange phenomenon that appeared like a huge spacecraft tethered to the sun and it seemed as if it is sucking power from it. The video got viral and many viewers thought it to be true.

NASA had to brief the reality of the event. According to NASA, this phenomenon is frequently observed around the surface of the sun and it is called "prominence". The phenomenon occurs due to the temperature difference of the plasma present in the sun. However, there is not much of evidence how it exactly occurs but for sure it has nothing to do with aliens or alien spacecraft.
