August 3, 2022 - U.S. Army Capt. Luke Cox, commander of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division; Sgt. 1st Class David Jones, senior operations officer of Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade; Lt. Col. Velin Kehayov, commander of 42nd Mechanized Battalion, 2nd Mechanized Brigade; and Ranger Aaron Mann, a British soldier assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Royal Irish Regiment, speak about increasing interoperability and readiness with allied forces during Exercise Platinum Lion 2022 at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria. Exercise Platinum Lion is a Bulgarian-hosted multinational exercise designed to improve operational and tactical interoperability among allied nations.
