Secretary Birds Courtship Ritual? | Maasai Mara Safari | Zebra Plains

A pair of secretary birds interact on their nest. I believe this to be part of their courtship ritual but am not entirely sure.
An often heard tale is that secretary birds get their name from the feathers at the back of their head, said to resemble a secretary keeping quill pens in their hair or behind their ears. Another possibility is that the name comes from the French secrétaire, a corruption of the Arabic saqr-et-tair meaning either "hawk of the semi-desert" or "hawk that flies".
