A mountainous temple in India welcomes a family of wild bears to its doors every evening and the animals are surprisingly tame. The thirty-year-old Chandi Temple, in Chhattisgarh, central India, has become popular in the area because of the influx of local bears.

Every day as the head priest begins his evening prayers, the shaggy-haired animals - comprising of a grown-up male and female and three cubs - roam over from the nearby jungle. According to forest officials, the absence of food in their natural habitat forced the bears to visit the temple six months ago and now they come every day between 6-7pm to fill their stomachs with coconuts.
