Log Slide Overlook | Upper Peninsula of Michigan

The Log Slide Overlook is located west of Grand Marais on the eastern side of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The log slide was a large wooden chute from the top of the dunes to the water where the logs would be collected and loaded onto ships for transport.
