有时，跟随耶稣意味着拒绝别人，拒绝别人对我们的好意，在社交上处于尴尬境地，在世人眼中不被接受。 耶稣在路加福音第九章中说："如果有人以我和我的道为耻，将来人子在自己、天父和圣天使的荣耀中降临时，也必以这人为耻。"

我想给你们举个例子。今天早上我做了一个梦，在梦中，我进了城，走进一家我以前买过衣服和鞋子的商店，我抬头看了看墙上的海报，我看到一个乐队的海报，这个乐队是Bee Gees。 我不听这个乐队的歌，对这个乐队也不了解，但当我看那张海报时，店员想给我这个忠实顾客一个回馈，赠送我这张海报和这个乐队的一张旧唱片，好像上面有他们的签名。

这是一个非常好的馈赠，但我在梦中知道，如果我接受他们这份好意，我就是在否认耶稣。 在那一刻，我有一个选择，要么为耶稣基督站出来，拒绝这份馈赠，但显得非常尴尬，要么就接受它，因为这家店这样做完全出于好意。 我选择与耶稣站在一起，而且在我的日常生活中，当这样的事情发生时，我都选择与耶稣站在一起。 当（做光）的机会出现时，我们必须与主站在一起。 我们也要让人们知道，原因不是因为我们讨厌他们，不是因为我们不喜欢他们做好事，而是很多时候他们给我们的东西只是来自撒旦的东西。 而世界上的人们往往不知道他们所给的东西实际上是来自撒旦的。 以前有人给过我很多这样的东西。

但我拒绝世界上的东西，因为我有更好的，那就是耶稣基督。 我属于他的国度。 我也会与你或其他任何人分享耶稣给我的东西，他的话语，他的真理，他的爱......如果你愿意接受的话。 我喜欢给予，但我不会向世界索取。 作为神国的孩子，我们把神的真理馈赠世人，与世界分享他的爱，但我们不能接受撒旦的礼物，因为那些东西会把我们的灵魂拉向地狱。 我希望这个信息对那些被诱惑走世界的路，或者被撒旦诱惑落入世界的人有帮助。 通常撒旦表现得像个绅士，他表现得好像很爱你，但最终，撒旦想摧毁你的灵魂，他想把你和你的家人带到地狱。 我希望这能鼓励你与耶稣基督一起站在真理的光中——即使这样的选择看起来很尴尬的，即使世人完全不能明白。 愿耶稣的恩典与你同在。

Following Jesus Often Means Turning People Down

Sometimes what it means to follow Jesus is turning people down, turning nice offers that people have for us down, being socially awkward, not being acceptable in the eyes of the world. Jesus said in Luke chapter 9; “For whoever is ashamed of Me and my words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed, when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s and of the holy angels.”
I want to give you an example: This morning I had a dream, and in my dream, I had gone into town. I went into a certain store where I have bought clothes before and shoes, and I looked up on the wall and I saw a poster of a band, the band was the Bee Gees. I don’t listen to this band, and I don’t really know anything about this band, but when I looked at the poster, someone in the store wanting to do me a favor for being a good customer, offered me the poster and an old record of theirs that maybe was signed.
It was a really nice offer, but I knew in my dream, that if I received this offer, I would be denying Jesus. And in that moment, I had a choice either to stand up for Jesus Christ and reject this offer and look really awkward, or just to receive it, because it was a really nice thing that the store was doing. I chose to stand with Jesus, and also in my everyday life when things like this happen, I also choose to stand with Jesus. When the opportunities arise (to shine) we have to stand our ground with the Lord. We can also let people know, the reason why isn’t because we hate people, it’s not because we don’t like people doing nice things, but a lot of time the things that people are offering us are just things from Satan. And often people in the world don’t know that what they are offering is actually satanic. People have offered me many things like this before.
But I reject things of the world because I have something MUCH better, and that is Jesus Christ. I belong to His Kingdom. I will also share with you or anyone else the things that Jesus has given me, His words, His truth, His love… IF you will accept it. I love to give, but I WILL NOT TAKE FROM THE WORLD. As a child of the Kingdom of God we want to GIVE the truth of God, share His love with the world, but we do not want to receive Satan’s gifts, because those things will pull our souls to hell. I hope this message makes sense to someone who is being tempted to go the way of the world, or to fall into the world by Satan. Often Satan acts like a gentleman, he acts like he loves you, but in the end, Satan wants to destroy your soul, he wants to take you and your family to hell. I hope this encourages you to stand in the light of the truth with Jesus Christ even if it is awkward and even if it doesn’t make sense to the world. May the grace of Jesus be with you.
